Always (1989), an American romantic fantasy film directed and produced by Steven Spielberg, is a remake of the 1943 romantic drama A Guy Named Joe. Set during World War II, it follows Pete Sandich, an aerial firefighter whose girlfriend Dorinda Durston doubles as an air traffic controller for the firefighters.
