The last film of the Varg Veum franchise, Varg Veum – Cold Hearts (2012), was co-written and directed by lead actor Trond Espen Seim. While investigating a case of disappeared sisters, Varg Veum is about to become a father. He realizes that the case has connections to a police investigation. In order to pursue the case, Varg must risk his pregnant wife.
