In Dreams (1999), a psychological thriller directed by Neil Jordan, is an adaptation of the novel Doll’s Eyes (1993) by Bari Wood. As a suburban housewife and mother, Claire Cooper spends her free time illustrating children’s stories while her husband Paul, an airline pilot, is often away for work (and possibly having an affair with his Australian co-worker).
