The Stranger (2020) is a British mystery thriller miniseries consisting of eight parts. Written primarily by Danny Brocklehurst, it is based on the 2015 Harlan Coben novel with the same title. Premiering on Netflix on 30 January 2020, the show features an all-star cast including Richard Armitage, Siobhan Finneran, and Hannah John-Kamen. The filming took place in various locations in and around Manchester and Stockport.
