Beverly Hills Cop III (1994)

Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) is an American action comedy film featuring Eddie Murphy and directed by John Landis. Detroit Police Department detective Axel Foley has devised a plan to bring down a car theft ring at a chop shop. Despite not informing his superior, Inspector G. Douglas Todd, Axel decides to proceed with the raid using only his own team instead of calling for SWAT backup. At the same time, a group of four men arrives at the chop shop to pick up a stolen box truck and confirms that it still contains its government-issued crates. The leader of the group orders his men to eliminate the car thieves and they prepare to leave in the box truck with their loot. However, just as they are about to make their escape, Axel and his team launch their raid.

Unfortunately, they find themselves outmatched by the well-armed group and Todd ends up losing his life while trying to intervene. In an attempt to apprehend the criminals, Axel begins chasing after them in his vehicle but is soon intercepted by Secret Service Agent Steve Fulbright. He informs Axel that the federal government is pursuing a larger scheme which involves him, and as a result, the killer must remain at large. After Todd’s funeral, Axel discovers that clues left behind by the killer lead to Wonder World, a theme park owned by ‘Uncle Dave’ Thornton in Beverly Hills, California. He heads to Beverly Hills where he is joined by his friend Billy Rosewood, now promoted to DDO-JSIOC.
