It is based on How to Train Your Dragon and features Hiccup, Astrid, Fishlegs, Toothless and Gobber. In this short, they share the legend of the Book of Dragons and reveal exclusive training tips for never-before-seen dragons in a total of 14 different species. These dragons are divided into 7 classes: Stoker (Terrible Terror, Monstrous Nightmare), Boulder (Gronckle, Whispering Death), Fear (Hideous Zippleback, Snaptrapper), Sharp (Deadly Nadder, Timberjack), Tidal (Scauldron, Thunderdrum), Mystery (Changewing, Boneknapper) and Strike (Skrill, Night Fury).

Upon entering the Great Hall, Hiccup and his fellow dragon trainers welcome you as a new recruit. To familiarize you with your new role, the teen vikings and Gobber the Belch introduce you to their primary reference guide, The Book of Dragons. Taking you on a tour of the incredible variety of dragon breeds, these young heroes also share their own discoveries on proper handling techniques. Along this journey, you will also hear the misfortunes of Bork the Very, Very Unfortunate, who had to gather information for this book through firsthand experience. As Hiccup, Astrid, Toothless, and Gobber recount the story of Bork the Bold – the original author of The Book of Dragons – prepare yourself for your ultimate challenge: becoming a dragon trainer. But before we delve into training methods, it is crucial to learn about each unique dragon breed and understand the dos and don’ts for their seven distinct classes. Do you possess what it takes to uncover their secrets? Are you prepared to embark on your first training session with a dragon?
