The 2019 American horror anthology streaming television series, Creepshow (2019–2024), serves as a continuation of the 1982 film of the same name. It features seventeen episodes, each containing two horror stories. Scholastic Books released a companion book entitled Creepshow: The Taker, with two novellas written by Elley Cooper inspired by the TV series. A second installment, titled Creepshow: The Cursed and also written by Cooper, was released on April 28, 2021. Critics have praised the series, with an average rating of 7.7/10 based on 29 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and a critical consensus that reads: ‘Delightfully eerie, Creepshow captures the spirit of the original while forging its own spooky path’. On Metacritic, it has a weighted average score of 64 out of 100 based on five critics, indicating ‘generally favorable reviews’.

The Creep entertains the crowd with chilling tales straight from the pages of the Creepshow comic book. These stories showcase classic elements from the first Creepshow film and feature occasional advertisements for horror merchandise advertised in the comics. Each story delves into different supernatural creatures such as demons, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and zombies. The Creep eagerly opens a crate (similar to the one in the first film) filled with issues of Creepshow. He gleefully pulls out an issue and turns towards the audience with a mischievous laugh. Following the opening credits, there is a promotional spot for other thrilling issues of Creepshow. This is followed by an advertisement for deluxe full-over-the-head monster masks featuring vampires, sea monsters, witches, Sasquatch creatures, vampire mummies, voodoo zombies, Lady Frankenstein, weregorillas, scarecrows, the Creep himself, genies, and even a severed head! And then… the first story begins.
