Cross the Line (2020)
Cross the Line (2020) is a Spanish thriller film directed by David Victori. It stars Mario Casas alongside Milena Smit and Elisabeth Larena, and has received numerous accolades. These include a Goya Award for Best Actor (Casas) out of three nominations at the 35th Goya Awards, as well as a Feroz Award for Best Actor from a total of four nominations at the 8th Feroz Awards. Dani works in a travel agency and after experiencing the death of his father, he initially appears unfazed. However, when his sister Laura unexpectedly shows up at his office asking for a tour package, he starts to consider traveling around the world. One night, Dani is approached by a woman who asks him for money to buy a burger in a bar. He reluctantly agrees and ends up joining her for the evening. She takes him to her friends’ tattoo shop by obtaining keys hidden in a nearby water drainage channeling.
After the woman deactivates the security alarm by entering the code, Dani and Mila leave the house and move to an apartment. The woman tries to convince Dani to get a tattoo despite the fact that Dani is reluctant. When Ray attacks Dani, Dani defends himself by attacking Ray with a penetrating weapon, resulting in Ray bleeding to death. By jumping out of the window, Mila claims that the police will believe Dani’s version of the good boy instead of hers.
