For the Birds (2000) is an American computer-animated short film from Pixar, written and directed by Ralph Eggleston. A small blue egg-shaped bird lands comfortably on a powerline, soon joined by another of its kind. The two begin to quarrel and are soon joined by 13 other birds just like them, all jostling for room. Suddenly, a large shoebill-like bird appears on a nearby power pole, interrupting the commotion with loud honks.
