Duncanville (2020 — 2022)

Duncanville (2020–2022) is an American animated sitcom, created for the Fox Broadcasting Company by Amy Poehler, Mike Scully and Julie Scully. The show follows the life of 15-year-old Duncan Harris, who is constantly teetering on the edge of making bad decisions. Along with his family, he navigates through the ups and downs of adolescence. Duncan’s mother Annie is a meter maid with aspirations of becoming a detective. She is always on guard to prevent Duncan from getting into trouble. His father Jack strives to be a better parent than his own father was to him.

He also has two sisters – 12-year-old Kimberly who is going through typical teen phases, and 5-year-old Jing, adopted from Asia and full of wise advice for her older brother. Mia is Duncan’s crush, although their relationship is on-and-off. Other characters include Mr Mitch – a teacher juggling multiple jobs, Duncan’s friends Yangzi, Bex, and Wolf; their neighbor Helen Diggins; Jack’s father Dick who can be unpleasant at times; and Annie’s brother Stan Theman who happens to be a swindler. In June 2022, after three seasons, Fox cancelled the series but unaired episodes will air on Hulu.
