Escape Plan (2013)
Escape Plan (2013) is an American prison action thriller film featuring the talents of both Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Ray Breslin, a former prosecutor, is the co-owner and founder of Breslin-Clark, a specialized security firm that puts supermax prisons to the test. He infiltrates facilities under the guise of an inmate in order to identify weaknesses and plan successful escapes. Motivated by the tragic deaths of his wife and child at the hands of an escaped convict he had previously prosecuted, Breslin has gained a reputation as an escape artist. When CIA agent Jessica Miller offers him and business partner Lester Clark a lucrative deal to test a top-secret prison for missing individuals, they must agree to not know its true location.
Despite compromising his beliefs, Breslin agrees to be captured as a hired terrorist. However, things go awry when his captors discover and remove the tracking chip he had implanted in his arm, and also drug him, making it impossible for his team to locate him. Upon awakening in the prison, Breslin is shocked to find that the warden is not the one who was supposed to release him in case of an emergency. Fortunately, he forms a bond with fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer, who claims to work for Victor Mannheim – a mysterious figure known for stealing from the wealthy. During an attempted escape, Breslin realizes they are on a massive prison ship somewhere in the middle of the ocean.
