Family Guy Presents: It’s a Trap (2010) is a direct-to-video special of Family Guy that concludes the Star Wars parody trilogy Laugh It Up, Fuzzball. The Griffin family faces another power outage and must watch Return of the Jedi. The episode, named after the iconic phrase from the film, was released on December 21, 2010 and later aired on Fox on May 22, 2011. R2-D2 and C-3PO go to Jabba the Hutt’s palace in an attempt to rescue Han Solo, who is still frozen in carbonite. Princess Leia thaws Han but is captured by Jabba and shackled at his side. Luke bargains for their release but falls into a pit where he fights and defeats a Rancor. Jabba then sentences them all to be eaten by the Sarlacc. With help from Lando Calrissian, Luke stages an attack on Jabba’s crew while Leia uses her slave chains to strangle Jabba. Meanwhile, the others take control of a transport ship to escape.

Luke and R2-D2 travel to Dagobah for Luke’s final training with Yoda, while the others rejoin the rebel fleet. During their time on Dagobah, Yoda reveals that the last part of Luke’s training is to confront Vader. In his final moments, Yoda discloses that Luke has a sibling, which is later confirmed by Obi-Wan Kenobi as Princess Leia. To successfully destroy the Death Star, the rebels need to disable a shield generator on Endor’s forest moon. Han manages to sneak past the Empire’s blockade by using a stolen Imperial ship and an old access code. Despite Vader knowing of Luke’s presence, he grants them passage. When they arrive on the moon’s surface, Imperial soldiers spot them but are stopped from reporting after a thrilling chase. Meanwhile, Leia befriends Wicket the Ewok after getting separated from her comrades.
