Fast Five (2011)

Fast Five (2011) is an action film directed by Justin Lin and written by Chris Morgan. While Dominic Toretto is being transported to Lompoc Prison on a bus, his sister Mia Toretto and friend Brian O’Conner launch an attack and free him. Evading authorities, the trio flees to Rio de Janeiro. Meanwhile, Mia and Brian team up with their friend Vince and others for a robbery mission involving three cars on a train. However, they discover that DEA agents are pursuing the same cars as seized property. Dom arrives with his crew but their main target Zizi only wants one car – the Ford GT40. In the midst of a fight between Dom, Brian, and Zizi’s men, the DEA agents are killed by Zizi himself while trying to stop them.

Brian and Dom are captured and brought to drug lord Hernan Reyes, the owner of the cars and Zizi’s boss. Reyes orders them to be interrogated in order to find out where the car is located. However, they manage to escape and take shelter in their safehouse. The situation takes a turn for the worse when Dom, Brian, and Mia are framed for the murder of DEA Agents. As a result, the U.S. government sends a team from the Diplomatic Security Service, led by Agent Luke Hobbs and assisted by local officer Elena Neves, to Rio with the intention of arresting them. As they examine the car to uncover its significance, Vince shows up and is caught trying to remove a computer chip from it. He confesses that he was planning to sell it to Reyes, causing Dom’s anger towards him.
