Final Destination 3 (2006)

Final Destination 3 (2006) is an American supernatural horror film directed by James Wong. Serving as a standalone sequel to Final Destination 2 (2003), it is the third addition to the Final Destination film series. The screenplay was written by Wong and Glen Morgan, who also wrote the first film. Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ryan Merriman, it takes place years after the events of the first movie. Our story follows high school student Wendy Christensen as she joins her classmates – including her boyfriend Jason Wise, best friend Carrie Dreyer, and others – at an amusement park in Pennsylvania to celebrate their graduation in 2005. However, when Wendy has a premonition of a potential disaster on the Devil’s Flight roller coaster involving a dropped camcorder and faulty hydraulics, she manages to convince nine people not to ride.

Unfortunately, her efforts are unsuccessful for some – including Jason and Carrie – who end up becoming victims when the ride derails. Weeks after the explosion of Flight 180, Kevin informs Wendy about it and the subsequent deaths of the survivors. This leads them to believe they too could be in danger. While at a tanning salon, Ashley and Ashlyn meet their tragic fate in malfunctioning tanning beds. With a growing belief that Death is targeting them, Wendy and Kevin embark on a mission to protect the remaining survivors. They use omens hidden in photographs that Wendy took on the night of the crash to guide them. As they pull into a drive-thru restaurant and see Frankie’s photo, they are forced to quickly exit Kevin’s truck due to an approaching semi-trailer truck. The impact causes Frankie’s death as his car is crushed by the truck’s engine bursting out of its hood and grille. The next day, despite their efforts, Wendy and Kevin are unable to save Lewis…
