Final Destination 4 (2009)

Final Destination 4 (2009) is an American 3D supernatural horror film, written by Eric Bress and directed by David R. Ellis. Produced by New Line Cinema, it follows a group of people who survive a deadly accident during a stock car race, only to find that Death is now hunting them down one by one. That year, college student Nick O’Bannon attends the McKinley Speedway with his girlfriend Lori Milligan and friends Hunt Wynorski and Janet Cunningham for their semester break. Nick has a vision of the racetrack collapsing, causing debris to fly into the grandstand. In a panic, some people leave the stadium, including Lori, Hunt, Janet, racist tow truck driver Carter Daniels, mother Samantha Lane, mechanic Andy Kewzer and his girlfriend Nadia Monroy, as well as security guard George Lanter. As Nadia scolds the group for leaving in fear, she is suddenly killed when a stray wheel flies out of the stadium and decapitates her.

After the accident, Daniels goes to George’s house to burn a cross on his lawn as he blames the guard for not allowing him to save his wife Cynthia at the speedway. However, he accidentally sets himself on fire when his tow truck malfunctions and is dragged down the street before exploding. The day after, Samantha is killed when a rock from a lawnmower hits her eye while she is leaving a beauty salon. Nick becomes convinced that Death is targeting them after learning of their deaths and similar incidents related to the speedway. With George’s assistance, Nick and Lori revisit the speedway in search of the next survivor, Andy. Sadly, Andy is killed at the mechanic shop when he is launched through a metal grid fence by a carbon dioxide tank. Nick then predicts that Hunt and Janet’s deaths will involve water. With George and Lori’s help, they find Janet trapped in a malfunctioning car wash and are able to rescue her just in time.
