Final Destination 5 (2011)

The American 3D supernatural horror film, Final Destination 5 (2011), directed by Steven Quale and written by Eric Heisserer, follows Sam Lawton and his colleagues as they head to a company retreat. However, while crossing the North Bay Bridge, Sam has a vision of its collapse due to high winds. In a panic, he manages to get his ex-girlfriend Molly Harper safely across the bridge before it crumbles. The survivors, including Molly, Nathan Sears, Peter Friedkin and his girlfriend Candice Hooper, Dennis Lapman (Sam’s boss), Olivia Castle, and Isaac Palmer are then questioned by FBI agent Jim Block before attending a memorial service for their deceased colleagues. Meanwhile, coroner William Bludworth is keeping a close eye on them.

While the bus makes its way onto the bridge, Sam’s attention is drawn to the suspicious road construction, causing him to feel uneasy during the journey. A traffic operator halts the bus before cracks begin to form on the bridge. The workers quickly evacuate, followed by the rest of the group. However, Candice becomes trapped when portions of the road collapse into the lake below. Panic sets in as the condition of the bridge worsens by the second. Despite being occupied in the bathroom, Isaac remains on the bus and is unable to escape when it plunges into the water, leading to his untimely demise upon impact with the windshield.
