Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), an American slasher film directed by Joseph Zito and produced by Frank Mancuso Jr., follows the aftermath of Jason Voorhees’ apparent death. As police clean up and take his body to the morgue, the unexpected occurs – Jason revives and murders two people before escaping. The next day, a group of teenagers, including Paul, Sam, Sara, Doug, Jimmy, and Ted, embark on a weekend trip to Crystal Lake. On their way, they encounter Pamela Voorhees’ tombstone and later pick up a hitchhiker who soon meets her demise at the hands of Jason. Upon arriving at their destination, they meet Trish Jarvis and her younger brother Tommy along with their dog Gordon. During a walk the following day, they also come across twin sisters Tina and Terri who join them for some skinny dipping.
Trish and Tommy stumble upon the scene and Trish is later invited to a party happening that evening. When their car breaks down, they are assisted by Rob Dier, a young man. They bring him back to their house where he meets their mother. Tommy shares his handmade monster masks with Rob before he heads out for camping. As the night progresses, the teenagers commence their party. However, Sam becomes envious when she sees Tina flirting with Paul and storms off. She makes her way to the lake where Jason surprises her from under a raft and impales her. Meanwhile, Paul goes out to search for Sam but ends up being harpooned in the groin by Jason. Terri attempts to leave early but is stopped by Jason who stabs her with a spear before she can escape on her bike.
