Frozen Fever (2015)

Frozen Fever (2015) was released by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The short film was brimming with music and fantasy. A year after the events of Frozen, Queen Elsa is determined to give her sister Anna a surprise birthday party she will never forget. To bring her vision to life, Elsa enlists the help of Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. Together, they embark on a treasure hunt planned by the queen herself. However, their celebrations are disrupted by an unexpected visitor – a cold. With each sneeze, Elsa unintentionally creates small snow creatures known as ‘Snowgies’. Kristoff and Sven try to put an end to their mischief-making while Olaf embraces them. Despite Anna’s growing concern for her sister’s well-being, Elsa shrugs it off and eagerly continues their adventure. Meanwhile, Anna finds herself overwhelmed by the extravagant gifts she discovers along the way as Elsa’s condition worsens.

As they climb the clock tower to claim Elsa’s final birthday surprise – two figures that will join the hourly procession – Anna notices her sister’s feverish state. It becomes evident that Elsa is struggling to keep her balance and, in a vulnerable moment, almost tumbles off the platform. In a quick response, Anna grabs her sister’s wrist and saves her from falling. Despite being hesitant, Elsa finally admits to catching a cold and needing rest in bed. As they head back to the castle, Elsa apologizes for ‘ruining’ Anna’s birthday yet again. However, Anna reassures her that nothing was spoiled despite her illness. Taking charge, Anna leads Elsa towards her room but on their way, they are surprised by Kristoff, Olaf, Sven, and a group of Snowgies at the castle entrance. It is only then that Elsa realizes the little snow creatures she has unintentionally been creating all day long. The festivities continue as everyone indulges in Princess Anna’s birthday cake.
