Frozen II (2019)

Frozen II (2019) is a vibrant and imaginative animated musical by Walt Disney Animation Studios, now available through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In the film, King Agnarr of Arendelle reveals to his daughters Elsa and Anna that their grandfather, King Runeard, had made a treaty with the Northuldra tribe by constructing a dam in their enchanted homeland, the Enchanted Forest. The treaty caused hostility between the two groups and resulted in Runeard’s death, causing the four elements of earth, fire, water, and air to become enraged and vanish. As a result of these events, a mysterious mist wall appeared and trapped all those who were present inside the forest; only Agnarr was able to escape with help from an unknown hero. Fast forward three years to Elsa’s coronation as queen of Arendelle when she celebrates autumn with Anna, Olaf the snowman, Kristoff the ice harvester, and Sven the reindeer. One night, Elsa hears an enigmatic voice beckoning her and decides to follow it – unknowingly triggering a chain reaction that awakens elemental spirits who proceed to force all inhabitants of Arendelle to evacuate.

The Rock Troll colony arrives and Grand Pabbie instructs the sisters to uncover the truth about the past. They follow a mysterious voice and journey to the Enchanted Forest, with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven in tow. As Elsa’s touch causes the mist to part, a tornado takes form as the air spirit. The vortex ensnares everyone until Elsa transforms it into ice sculptures depicting their father’s history. The fire spirit, an agitated magical salamander, becomes Elsa’s friend. Along their way, they encounter both Northuldrans and Arendellian soldiers at odds with each other. After learning that their mother Queen Iduna was a Northuldran who had saved Arendellian Agnarr, Anna and Elsa broker a truce between the two groups.
