Gen V (2023 — 2024)

Gen V (2023–2024), an American superhero show, is the brainchild of Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke. It’s a spin-off of Kripke’s series The Boys, and is based on the comic book arc We Gotta Go Now by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The story takes place in the same world as The Boys but focuses on a new generation of Supes attending Goldolkin University. Here, students must navigate through school life while dealing with the complexities of their powers, sexuality, and a ranking system that determines their future. However, when Marie, Andre, Cate, Emma, and Jordan uncover a conspiracy, they are thrown into a bloody and gory adventure that rivals even The Boys.

Gen V, a spin-off from The Boys, delves into the education of early superheroes regarding Compound V and the revelation that their abilities were artificially induced rather than natural gifts from a higher power. These ambitious young heroes push themselves, both physically and ethically, to achieve the prestigious top rank at their training school. However, they soon realize that ambition often requires sacrifices and their perception of right and wrong is not as black and white as they once thought. As secrets of the university are exposed, the students must determine what kind of heroes they want to be.
