Gravity Falls (2012–2016), created by Alex Hirsch for Disney Channel and Disney XD, is an American mystery comedy animated television series. It follows the escapades of Dipper Pines and his sister Mabel, who spend their summer with their great-uncle Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon – a town filled with mysterious events and supernatural creatures. The siblings assist Stan in operating the ‘Mystery Shack’, his tourist attraction, while also investigating local enigmas. The 12-year-old Pines twins, Dipper and Mabel, are spending their summer in the fictitious town of Gravity Falls, Roadkill County, Oregon. They were dropped off by their home in Piedmont, California to stay with their great uncle Stan Pines (also known as Grunkle Stan), who owns a tourist attraction called the ‘Mystery Shack’. Each day, the twins uncover the town’s secrets with the help of a mysterious journal found by Dipper in the forest. Alongside them are Wendy Corduroy, cashier at the Mystery Shack; Soos Ramirez, a friend of Dipper and Mabel and Jack-of-all-trades for Grunkle Stan; and various other characters. Exciting adventures await Dipper and Mabel every day during their stay.
