As Lucius Malfoy remains imprisoned in Azkaban, Voldemort assigns his son, Draco Malfoy, with a secret mission at Hogwarts. To ensure Draco’s safety, his mother Narcissa and aunt Bellatrix Lestrange turn to Severus Snape for assistance as he claims to be a trusted member of the Order of the Phoenix. Harry Potter joins Albus Dumbledore in convincing former Potions professor Horace Slughorn to return to Hogwarts. Later, at the Burrow, he is joyfully reunited with his closest companions Ron and Hermione. While exploring Diagon Alley, they spot Draco and Narcissa Malfoy before tailing them into Knockturn Alley. At Borgin & Burke’s, the duo meets with Death Eaters, including the notorious werewolf Fenrir Greyback. Despite Harry’s suspicions that Draco has joined their ranks, Ron and Hermione remain skeptical. On their journey back to school aboard the Hogwarts Express, Harry discreetly slips into the Slytherin carriage under his Invisibility Cloak in order to gather information on Malfoy. Unfortunately, his efforts are quickly discovered by Malfoy who uses a petrification spell to leave him stranded on the train.
