Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021)

The film Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard (2021) is an American action comedy directed by Patrick Hughes and written by Tom O’Connor and Brandon and Phillip Murphy. The main character, Michael Bryce, takes a break from his bodyguarding career to vacation in Capri while he awaits the reinstatement of his license. However, his peace is interrupted when Sonia Kincaid finds him and convinces him to help rescue her hitman husband Darius, who has been kidnapped by mobsters. After successfully saving Darius, they are all captured by Interpol agent Bobby O’Neill. It is revealed that the mobster they killed was actually O’Neill’s informant, and he forces them to aid in finding Greek billionaire terrorist mastermind Aristotle Papadopoulos. Papadopoulos plans to destroy the European power grid and infrastructure as revenge for potential sanctions from the European Union. To achieve this goal, O’Neill sends Bryce and the Kincaids to attend a party in Portofino and obtain the coordinates for a data grid. However, things take a turn when Bryce is recognized by a former client, resulting in a shootout at the party.

Following some assistance from his bodyguard stepfather, Bryce Senior, the trio find themselves in the hands of Aristotle’s henchmen. It is then revealed that Aristotle is actually Sonia’s former romantic partner. Using manipulative tactics, Aristotle turns Sonia against Darius and forces Bryce and him to flee. However, things take an unexpected turn when Senior discloses his role as Aristotle’s head of security and disowns Bryce. Despite this betrayal, Bryce and Kincaid join forces to save Sonia, who confesses to playing mind games with Aristotle. As they attempt to thwart Aristotle’s evil plans, he discovers Sonia’s deception and tries to harm her. In a fierce battle against their enemies, Darius and Bryce take down the henchmen while also preventing Aristotle from damaging the European power grid and communication systems via underwater drilling. Finally, Bryce eliminates Senior while Kincaid and Sonia do away with Aristotle for good.
