In Like Flint (1967)

Directed by Gordon Douglas, In Like Flint (1967) is an American spy fi comedy film. After witnessing the launch of a new space platform, Z.O.W.I.E. Chief Lloyd C. Cramden and President Trent take a break from their golf game. However, their leisure is cut short by the Fabulous Face organization, who attack Cramden and capture the president. The group’s plan is to control the world with a team of women in charge, starting with taking over a US space facility in the Virgin Islands. To do so, they set up a spa as a front for their activities. Using hair dryers equipped with tape recorders, they aim to brainwash their fellow females at their headquarters near the rocket base.

Perplexed by a three-minute time discrepancy, which he noticed on a stopwatch while switching tasks, Cramden pays a visit to Derek Flint’s New York apartment. Upon arrival, he is greeted by three women who direct him to Flint himself. Cramden enlists Flint’s help in solving the mystery, while Lisa Norton of Fabulous Face engages the women in conversation and slyly convinces them to join her for a trip to the spa. Later that evening at an Italian restaurant, Cramden comes across Norton again, this time disguised as a southern tourist. She administers a sedative known as ‘euphoric acid’ and orchestrates a scandalous scene with a prostitute in a hotel room. The entire event is captured on camera and leaked by General Carter, who is collaborating with Fabulous Face.
