Incredibles 2 (2018)

In 2018, Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures released Incredibles 2 (2018), an American animated superhero film. After defeating Buddy Pine (aka Syndrome), the Parr family (aka the Incredibles) and Lucius Best (aka Frozone) battle the Underminer. Despite successfully thwarting his attempt to destroy city hall, they are unable to stop him from robbing a bank and escaping. This leads to the government shutting down the Superhero Relocation Program and denying supers financial aid. Violet’s classmate Tony Rydinger, whom she has a relationship with, discovers her true identity as a superhero. Agent Rick Dicker accidentally erases Tony’s memory of her entirely, instead of just the incident. To make matters worse, a wealthy businessman named Winston Deavor and his sister Evelyn propose secret missions to Lucius, Helen (aka Elastigirl), and Bob (aka Mr. Incredible).

Upon completion, these recordings will be made available to the public in an effort to rebuild trust in the superhero community. Winston appoints Helen for the initial missions due to her lower risk of accidents, despite her initial hesitation. With some words of encouragement from Bob, she accepts the role. Bob, now a stay-at-home parent, struggles to balance his new responsibilities while juggling Dash’s calculus assignments and comforting Violet after being stood up by Tony due to his memory loss. On top of that, he must also handle baby Jack-Jack’s increasingly powerful abilities. Fortunately, Edna Mode designs a suit to help regulate Jack-Jack’s powers. In other news, Helen faces off with a supervillain known as ‘Screenslaver’ in New Urbem, who uses hacked monitors to project hypnotic images. After preventing him from causing harm on a crowded train and stopping his assassination attempt on an ambassador, Helen traces him back to an apartment where she uncovers his true identity as a pizzeria employee with no recollection of his actions.
