Instinto (2019) is a Spanish erotic thriller television series starring Mario Casas. It was created by Teresa Fernández-Valdés, Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira, and produced by Bambú Producciones for Movistar+. The series premiered on 10 May 2019. Marco is a young businessman who manages ALVA, one of the world’s most successful technological companies. Under his leadership, the company has just released its latest product: CYCLONE, an electric car that harnesses wind energy through turbines. Diego, Marco’s friend and classmate, is also part of the team along with his wife Bárbara, who serves as the company’s efficient marketing manager. However, Eva, a driven young engineer with secrets to hide, joins their team and upsets the dynamic both personally and professionally between Marco and Diego. Despite being well-known in his field, Marco leads a solitary life without much excitement outside of work. The only person who truly knows him is his psychologist Sara, upon whom he relies emotionally.
Haunted by a multitude of ghosts from his past, Marco seeks refuge in sport and spending time at a private club. This particular establishment is known for indulging in hedonistic pleasures and allowing its patrons to freely explore their deepest erotic desires while hiding their identities behind masks. However, Marco’s routine is disrupted upon meeting Carol, the new educational psychologist responsible for his 18-year-old autistic brother José, whom he struggles to connect with. Little does he know, Carol will also introduce him to his ultimate adversary: himself. She will teach him that love knows no age limit and even if it may bring some discomfort, it is never too late to embrace it.
