Jurassic World (2015)

Jurassic World (2015) is an American science fiction action film helmed by director Colin Trevorrow. During their winter break, brothers Zach and Gray Mitchell take a trip to Isla Nublar’s dinosaur theme park, where their aunt Claire Dearing works as the operations manager. Claire assigns her assistant Zara to accompany the boys but they decide to explore on their own. Meanwhile, former Navy veteran and ethologist Owen Grady has been training a team of Velociraptors – Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo – and studying their intelligence. InGen security chief Vic Hoskins sees potential in weaponizing the raptors due to their ability to follow orders, a proposal that Owen and his partner Barry strongly oppose.

Prior to its grand opening, park owner Simon Masrani and Claire inspect the newest addition to the park: the Indominus rex. This genetically engineered dinosaur was created by Dr. Henry Wu and has caught Masrani’s attention. For security purposes, Masrani assigns Owen the task of evaluating the enclosure. Owen expresses his concerns to Claire about the Indominus’ lack of social skills, which make it a dangerous and unpredictable creature. As fate would have it, the Indominus appears to escape its enclosure, causing Owen and two other workers to enter in an attempt to contain it. However, due to its ability to camouflage and mask heat signatures, they are taken by surprise when it suddenly appears. Owen manages to survive but unfortunately, the other two workers are devoured before the Indominus disappears into the island’s interior.
