Mike's New Car (2002)

In the comedic short film Mike’s New Car (2002), the main characters from Monsters, Inc., Mike Wazowski and James P. ‘Sulley’ Sullivan, star in a 2002 American computer-animated adventure. Mike proudly introduces Sulley to his new six-wheel drive vehicle, eager to take it for a spin. However, things quickly go awry as Mike encounters numerous mishaps while trying to get inside the car. From the seatbelt reminder chime to struggling with a stuck seatbelt, Mike’s excitement turns into frustration. As Sulley tries to help, he ends up accidentally locking Mike out of the car and then closing the hood on his fingers. Amidst the chaos, all Mike can do is scream in agony.

After Sulley pushes the button to release him, Mike ends up stuck in the engine compartment. He uses his phone to contact Sulley and asks him to open the hood again, allowing Mike to escape and close it. However, when Mike gets back into the car, he is bothered by the incessant seatbelt reminder tone. Despite managing to buckle his seatbelt, he becomes even more irritated when the windshield wipers unexpectedly turn on. As Sulley tries to assist, Mike instructs him not to touch anything and takes matters into his own hands. Inadvertently, Mike activates a loud Latin music track on the stereo system and accidentally triggers a series of chaotic malfunctions in the car.
