Old School (2003)
Old School (2003) is a popular American comedy directed by Todd Phillips. Upon returning home early from a business trip, real estate attorney Mitch Martin is surprised to find his girlfriend Heidi hosting an orgy and ends their relationship. At his friend Frank’s wedding, Mitch reconnects with his old high school crush, Nicole, and later decides to move near Harrison University campus in upstate New York. His housewarming party, known as Mitch-A-Palooza, becomes a huge success thanks to the efforts of his friend Bernard. However, things take a turn for the worse when a drunken Frank runs naked in front of his new bride Marissa and her friends, causing tension in their marriage. Meanwhile, Mitch wakes up next to Darcie, who he later discovers is not only his boss’ daughter but also a high school senior.
As things continue to unravel for the group, Marissa kicks out Frank and he winds up moving in with Mitch instead. The friends receive an unexpected visit from former target of their ridicule, Gordon Pritchard, who is now the college dean and has rezoned their house for exclusive campus housing. Taking advantage of a loophole, Bernard transforms the house into a fraternity that is open to all, and they proceed to carry out hazing events all over campus, much to Pritchard’s disapproval. During one of Bernard’s children’s birthday parties, Mitch catches Nicole’s boyfriend Mark in a compromising situation with another woman. Tragically, elderly WWII veteran and fraternity member Blue passes away while participating in a ‘KY lube wrestling’ match with two female college students at his birthday celebration.
