Paco’s Men (2005–2021), a Spanish television series that aired on Antena 3 from 2005 to 2010, was created by Daniel Écija and Álex Pina and features various actors, including Paco Tous and Pepón Nieto. The plot centers around a group of police officers in San Antonio, a fictional neighborhood in Madrid. Initially, the focus was on three kind-hearted but clumsy agents – Paco, Mariano and Lucas – under the supervision of Don Lorenzo Castro Riquelme. Another major plotline revolved around the forbidden romance between Sara (Paco’s daughter) and Lucas, which later became a love triangle with Aitor’s involvement. However, in season 6, there was a controversial plot twist involving Lucas still being alive after previously being believed to be dead.

Following the successful seasons six through eight, which centered on a lesbian relationship between officer María Jose ‘Pepa’ Miranda Ramos and forensic scientist Silvia Castro León, the finale of season 8, titled ‘Todos los planes de Lucas Fernández’, saw the wedding of Pepa and Silvia. However, this joyous occasion quickly turned into a tragic blood bath, resulting in the deaths of four main characters (Silvia, Montoya, Nelson and Quique). In season 9, known as Los hombres de Paco 66.6, the series took an unexpected turn by introducing supernatural elements and resurrecting Silvia as a ghostly apparition. This new storyline pitted the leading characters against devil.
