The animated short film Toy Story Toons: Partysaurus Rex (2012) was written and directed by Mark Walsh. In the film, Rex is worried about making a mess with bubbles and is scolded by his fellow toys, who call him ‘Partypooper Rex’. When Bonnie starts preparing for a bath, the other toys scatter, leaving Rex alone. But then Bonnie plays with him and her bath toys until it’s time to go to her grandma’s. The bath toys are happy to have a visitor but become sad when all the water drains out. Since they need water to move and don’t have any arms, they wish someone could refill the tub. At first, Rex is unsure about drawing another bath but after remembering Mr. Potato Head’s insult, he proudly proclaims himself as ‘Partysaurus Rex’, plugs the drain, and turns on the water.
The bath toys, stirred by a playful Rex, are having a wild time in the tub thanks to bubble bath and a sponge blocking the overflow drain. However, Rex suddenly realizes that the water could spill into the hall if the tub overflows. Despite his panicked efforts to shut off the water, he ends up breaking both the knob and plug chain. Eventually, he is able to stop the flow by turning a small knob on the faucet, but this only redirects it to the showerhead. Meanwhile, Woody, Buzz, and other toys come to see what is going on with Rex. As they approach the bathroom door bursts open, unleashing a tidal wave of water.
