Reluctantly agreeing to cooperate, she undergoes extensive training including martial arts, firearms, etiquette, and computer use under the guidance of Senior Operative Amanda. Through this training, Maggie transforms into a refined and elegant woman. At dinner with Bob, she learns about her first assignment: assassinating a VIP dining at the same restaurant. After gunning down several bodyguards and making a daring escape through a laundry chute, she had finally passed her ultimate test and completed her training. The next day, she journeyed to Venice, California, where she began a passionate love affair with J.P., the manager of her apartment building. Though her first few assignments as an assassin were a success, Maggie quickly grew to despise her line of work and yearned to quit. As her blossoming romance with J.P. clashed with her secret occupation, she sought help in leaving the agency. Despite being denied at first, Bob ultimately agreed to help her leave on one condition: she must assume the identity of Angela, the girlfriend of Fahd Bakhtiar. This Iranian tycoon dealt in the dangerous world of nuclear weapons trade.
