Predators (2010)

In the American sci-fi action flick Predators (2010), directed by Nimród Antal and written by Alex Litvak and Michael Finch, a group of strangers discovers they have all been mysteriously dropped into a jungle. Among them are Royce, Cuchillo, Nikolai, Isabelle, Mombasa, Stans, Hanzo, and Edwin. Led by Royce, who Isabelle suspects is a former special ops soldier turned mercenary, the group explores the unfamiliar terrain. Along the way, they come across strange structures and evidence of someone else’s presence – perhaps even an otherworldly being. As they reach higher ground and take in the bizarre sky above them, it becomes clear that their current location is not Earth.

After escaping an encounter with a pack of hostile alien creatures, Royce realizes they are on a moon functioning as a game reserve, where humans and other deadly species are hunted. Cuchillo meets his demise and becomes bait for the survivors, but they manage to outsmart the trap. Following the trail of the beasts, they come across a camp and stumble upon a captive Predator. However, their hunters – three larger Predators known as ‘Tracker’, ‘Berserker’ and ‘Falconer’ – attack, resulting in Mombasa’s death while the others flee. Isabelle recognizes this Predator as the one responsible for killing an elite team in Guatemala back in 1987, although it was ultimately defeated by a lone survivor.
