Private School (1983)

Private School (1983) is a high school flick from director Noel Black. Chris, a student at Cherryvale Academy for Girls in Northern California, shares a steamy romance novel with her bunkmate Betsy. Nearby, students from Freemount Academy for Men, including Jim and his less than tidy friend Bubba, sneak onto the girls’ campus. Jordan, who happens to be showering at the time, calls on Chris and Betsy for backup when she catches the boys trying to spy on her. In an attempt to scare them off, the trio accidentally causes the boys to fall off the building. As retaliation for being interrupted, Chris and Betsy take revenge by setting fire to a bag of horse manure and leaving it outside Jordan’s door.

Later that night, at a co-ed dance, Chris reveals that Jim is her boyfriend. After Miss Dutchbok’s speech, the band plays a slow song and Jordan dances alone, while also conspiring against Chris. Bubba joins Betsy on a secret trip to the headmistress’s office for drinks; unfortunately, their plan is foiled by Miss Dutchbok and her friends. The next day, after morning aerobics, Chris arranges a hotel room for her and Jim. Eventually, students from both schools are seen riding horses together. As Jordan trots by where Chris and Jim are talking, she intentionally exposes herself to Jim.
