An animated film, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines (2019), features the powerful superheroine as the main character. It is part of the DC Animated Movie Universe, and marks the 37th addition to the DC Universe Animated Original Movies. The story follows Princess Diana of Themyscira, who saves Captain Steve Trevor from an attack by Parademons in 2013. Using her purple healing ray, Diana tends to Steve’s injuries before Hippolyta, her mother and queen of the Amazons, imprisons him for breaking their “no men” rule.
