The American sitcom, Taxi (1978–1983), was originally broadcasted on ABC from September 12, 1978 to May 6, 1982, and then on NBC from September 30, 1982 to June 15, 1983. It explores the daily experiences of a few taxi drivers and their tough dispatcher in New York City.
