Stargate SG-1: Children of the Gods – Final Cut (2009) is the debut installment of Stargate SG-1, a military science fiction TV show. It was written by producers Jonathan Glassner and Brad Wright, and directed by Mario Azzopardi. The episode originally aired on July 27, 1997 on Showtime as a TV movie before being split into two parts for repeats and syndicated viewings. On July 21, 2009, an updated version titled Children of the Gods – The Final Cut was released.
