Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) is an epic space opera film directed and written by George Lucas. While above Coruscant, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker embark on a rescue mission to save Supreme Chancellor Palpatine from General Grievous, a cyborg Separatist commander. Their plans are disrupted when they encounter the Sith Lord Count Dooku, whom Anakin ultimately defeats. Despite their success, Grievous manages to escape as the flagship sustains damage and crashes onto Coruscant. Upon returning to the planet’s surface, Anakin is reunited with his wife Padmé Amidala. However, he soon begins experiencing visions of her death during childbirth. Palpatine appoints Anakin as his personal representative on the Jedi Council but they refuse to grant him the rank of Jedi Master and instead ask him to spy on Palpatine. This decision shakes Anakin’s trust in the Jedi Order.
Meanwhile, on Utapau, Grievous moves the Separatist leaders to Mustafar, a volcanic planet. Obi-Wan journeys to Utapau and faces off against Grievous, ultimately killing him. At the same time, Yoda heads to Kashyyyk in order to defend it from The Separatist Droid Attack on the Wookies. During this time, Palpatine tempts Anakin with the promise that the dark side of the Force can save Padmé. After realizing that Palpatine is the Sith Lord orchestrating the Clone Wars, Anakin reveals his deception to Mace Windu. In their confrontation, Windu manages to subdue Palpatine, leaving him badly scarred. Fearing for Padmé’s life, Anakin intervenes and prevents Windu from delivering a fatal blow to Palpatine by cutting off his hand. Unfortunately, this leads to Windu’s death as he falls from the building.
