Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021 — 2024)

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021–2024) is an animated series on Disney+, created by Dave Filoni. It’s part of the Star Wars franchise, serving as both a sequel and spin-off to The Clone Wars. It’s produced by Lucasfilm Animation and features the talents of head writer Jennifer Corbett and supervising director Brad Rau. The show follows a group of elite clone troopers known as the Bad Batch, voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. These soldiers possess genetic mutations that allowed them to resist Emperor Palpatine’s order to eliminate the Jedi, causing them to become fugitives in the era of the Galactic Empire. Now, they embark on daring mercenary missions in the aftermath of the Clone Wars.

The specialized clone unit, known as ‘The Bad Batch’, possesses advantageous abilities such as remarkable physical strength. They navigate through the newly formed Galactic Empire, questioning the reason behind their fellow clone troopers’ betrayal of their Jedi leaders. As The Republic crumbles and The Clone Wars fade into history, The Bad Batch emerges as an unlikely hope against The Empire’s tyranny. However, in order to survive in this new world, they must adapt quickly or risk becoming relics of the past.
