Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story (2005) is an animated film set in the Family Guy universe. It follows Stewie’s journey to find his real father after a near-death experience, leading him to San Francisco where he discovers it is himself from the future. Along with commentaries and a sneak peek of American Dad! Volume 1, the DVD was released on September 27, 2005. Fox later aired the film as three separate episodes for the finale of Family Guy season 4 on May 21, 2006. Some scenes were edited or removed by Fox to fit into a 66-minute time slot.

Stewie B. Goode. While at the Quahog Community Pool, Peter attempts to teach Stewie how to swim. Despite Stewie’s protests, Peter ends up tossing him into the pool. After a near-drowning incident, Lois enrolls Stewie in swimming lessons where he meets Brad, an impressive young swimmer. Feeling envious, Stewie resorts to desperate measures and tries to sabotage Brad’s success. His plan backfires when his explosive lifeguard chair fails and injures him instead. In a surreal turn of events, Stewie finds himself in Hell with Steve Allen but is ultimately revived by Lois. This experience prompts him to reflect on his behavior and strive to be a well-behaved child from then on.

Bango Was His Name, Oh!. Peter purchases a TiVo and Stewie notices a man on the news in San Francisco with a striking resemblance to himself. This sparks the belief that he may be his biological father. Despite facing obstacles in obtaining airfare, Stewie finds out that Quagmire is embarking on a trip across America and decides to join him and Brian in his RV. During their journey, they make a pit stop at a motel in New Jersey where Quagmire’s latest love interest robs and leaves him handcuffed to the bed. Taking advantage of the situation, Stewie and Brian take off in his RV, leaving Quagmire behind. Meanwhile, Peter and Lois struggle to have some alone time but are constantly disrupted by Chris and Meg. To address this issue, they decide to teach their children how to find dates.

Stu and Stewie’s Excellent Adventure. Stu, also known as Stewie’s future self, informs him that he is currently on vacation. He explains that instead of conventional travel, people from his time are able to journey to different eras in history. However, due to the secrecy surrounding time travel, Stu cannot reveal his true identity to anyone. Despite this, Stewie manages to sneak aboard with him and discovers some unexpected truths about his future. For instance, he learns that he will not become the ruler of the world as he had hoped, but rather a 35-year-old virgin who reads Parade magazine. This news is disheartening enough, but Stewie’s disappointment only grows when he finds out more about his family’s fate in the coming years. At a family dinner, he discovers that Lois is still alive and well, Meg has transitioned into a man named Ron after college, and Chris is married to an unpleasant woman named Vanessa who is obsessed with putting Lois and Peter in a retirement home so she can have their house. To make matters worse, Brian died after eating garbage chocolate and is now in Heaven with other famous individuals who took their own lives. In order for Stewie to avoid causing any problems in the past from his knowledge
