Tales from Radiator Springs (2013 — 2017)

Tales from Radiator Springs (2013–2017) is a computer-animated short series inspired by the Cars franchise. The show depicts the daily happenings of McQueen, Mater and their pals in their beloved hometown of Radiator Springs, picking up after the events of Cars 2.

1. Hiccups. While sipping on some oil, Lightning McQueen suddenly develops a case of the hiccups. The residents of Radiator Springs offer various suggestions to help him get rid of them, but none seem to do the trick. That is, until Sally plants a kiss on his cheek, magically curing his hiccups. However, it seems that McQueen’s hiccup cure may not work for everyone as Sheriff soon finds himself afflicted with the same condition. And in a comical attempt to cure Sheriff, Mater sets off a chase between the two as he believes kissing is the solution to all hiccups.

2. Bugged. As Red goes about his morning rituals, a pesky bug suddenly disrupts his routine. He quickly tries to exterminate the insect. Interestingly, this is the sole Cars Toon installment that does not showcase Lightning McQueen or Mater.

3. Spinning. Luigi tasks Guido with shaking his store’s sign in order to attract customers. However, Guido soon discovers a hidden talent for street corner sign spinning, which draws in a massive crowd.

4. The Radiator Springs 500 ½. Radiator Springs commemorates Founders Day, a special occasion that pays tribute to the late Stanley. However, the town is soon buzzing with excitement as a group of daring racers arrive and issue a thrilling off-road challenge to Lightning McQueen.
