With her boyfriend Ryan and best friend Nikki, along with Nikki’s boyfriend Kenny, Heather sets off to collect her inheritance from her grandmother’s home. On their journey, they encounter a hitchhiker named Darryl. Upon arrival, Farnsworth, Verna’s lawyer, hands Heather a letter which she fails to read. While exploring the house, the group decides to spend the night. They leave Darryl behind to watch over the house while they go out to purchase supplies and food.
