The Fate of the Furious (2017)

The Fate of the Furious (2017) is an action film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan. While enjoying their honeymoon in Cuba, newlyweds Dominic Toretto and Letty Ortiz are unexpectedly faced with a betrayal from a mysterious woman that forces them to confront their past. With the help of Mr. Nobody and Deckard Shaw, the team embarks on a journey from New York City to the icy plains of the Barents Sea to bring back their beloved family member, Dom. During their time in Havana, Dom’s cousin Fernando finds himself in trouble with local racer Raldo over unpaid debts. In order to settle things, Dom offers to race against Raldo using his own car as collateral.

Despite winning the race, Dom decides to let Raldo keep his car as a sign of respect and instead gifts his show car to his cousin. The following day, Dom is approached by the elusive terrorist Cipher, who forces him to work for her. Soon after, he and his team, consisting of Letty, Roman Pearce, Tej Parker, and Ramsey, are recruited by Diplomatic Security Service Agent Luke Hobbs. Their mission: to retrieve an E.M.P. device from a military outpost in Berlin, Germany. However, during the getaway, Dom betrays them and steals the device for Cipher. As a result, Hobbs is arrested and thrown into the high-security prison where he once helped imprison Deckard Shaw.
