The comedy film, The Hangover Part II (2011), was produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Following their wild adventure in Las Vegas, Stu Price is getting ready to tie the knot with his fiancée, Lauren, in Thailand. To avoid a similar debacle to their last trip, Stu initially declines the offer for his friends Doug Billings and Phil Wenneck (and especially Alan Garner) to come along. Instead, he opts for a more low-key bachelor party at IHOP with just Phil and Doug. However, Tracy pleads with Doug to convince Stu to let her brother Alan join them on the trip. After some hesitation, Stu reluctantly agrees to bring along his friends (including Alan), Tracy, and Phil’s wife Stephanie. And much to Alan’s dismay, they are also joined by Lauren’s 16-year-old brother Teddy- a brilliant scholar from Stanford University- at the airport.
At the rehearsal dinner, Lauren’s father expresses his disapproval of Stu in a toast. Later that night, Stu hesitantly joins Phil, Doug, Alan and Teddy for a beer around a campfire. As they roast marshmallows, they raise their glasses to Stu and Lauren’s future happiness. The next day dawns with Phil, Stu and Alan waking up in a rundown hotel room in Bangkok with no recollection of how they ended up there. To their surprise, Stu now sports a face tattoo resembling Mike Tyson’s and Alan is completely bald. They encounter a chain-smoking capuchin monkey and realize that Leslie Chow has followed them to Thailand after being invited by Alan. In addition to this, they cannot locate Teddy and only find his severed finger.
