The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007)

The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007) is the follow-up to its 2006 predecessor, which was a remake of the 1977 horror classic. The film centers on a captive woman who is held by Papa Hades and his inbred mutant clan at a nuclear testing village known as Sector 16 in the New Mexico desert. After her unsuccessful attempts at bearing healthy offspring and giving birth to a stillborn, she meets her demise at the hands of Papa Hades. In response to the events of the first film, the United States Department of Defense dispatches a military unit to take control of the area and eliminate any remaining mutants. While working on installing a surveillance system, Colonel Lincoln Redding and his team of scientists are ambushed by the mutants. A short while later, Sergeant Jeffrey ‘Sarge’ Millstone leads a group of National Guardsmen on a supply mission for the scientists. However, upon arriving at their destination, they discover that the base camp has been deserted after being attacked by mutants.

Upon hearing a faint distress signal, Sarge takes charge and leads his team on a search and rescue mission through the treacherous hills. As Napoleon and Amber remain at the camp, they come across one of the missing scientists in the portable toilet. Unfortunately, he passes away before he can give them a warning. While trying to flee from the mutants, their transportation is destroyed and their weapons are taken, leaving them no choice but to retreat into the hills and inform the rest of the group. During this time, Mickey falls victim to Stabber’s attack, while Sarge is accidentally shot by Spitter’s friendly fire. Fortunately, Napoleon and Amber are reunited with the group just in time. However, as Spitter is being lowered down a hill, one of the mutants sabotages his gear and he tragically meets his end. With their supplies stolen, they must search for an alternative way out.
