The Spanish TV mystery thriller miniseries, The Innocent (2021) was directed by Oriol Paulo and is based on the novel of the same name by Harlan Coben. Starring Mario Casas, Alexandra Jiménez, Aura Garrido and José Coronado, it premiered on Netflix on 30 April 2021. After serving a 4-year sentence for negligent homicide, Mateo Vidal begins a new life with his beloved Olivia.
