As he grows up, Bagheera trains him to learn the ways of the wolves, but Mowgli faces challenges and falls behind his siblings. Akela, the pack leader, disapproves of his use of human tricks instead of following pack traditions. During a drought, all jungle animals gather to drink water without fear due to a truce. However, this peace is disrupted when Shere Khan, a scarred tiger who harbors resentment towards mankind, arrives and threatens to kill Mowgli once the drought ends. The wolves debate whether they should keep Mowgli or not after the drought comes to an end.

However, during a ‘water truce, he catches the attention of Shere Khan, a fierce Bengal tiger with a taste for meat. The savage beast vows to kill Mowgli before he can grow into a man and endanger the jungle. Fearing Shere Khan’s threat, Mowgli parts ways with his pack to find refuge in the lush forest. There, he discovers that amidst both friends and foes reside in this vast green maze. Poor Mowgli has no claws or sharp teeth and hardly any fur – how will he manage to survive?
