The film follows Larry, who is devastated to discover that his estranged sister has taken her own life. On Larry’s final turn, he realizes that the ladder is about to give way just as Kitty begins her ascent again. In a panic, Larry rushes to pile hay below her and urges her to let go when she can’t hold on any longer. To his surprise, Kitty reveals that she didn’t even look down before trusting him to save her. She simply believed in him without hesitation or doubt.
