Initially, Malcolm suspects Cole of having schizophrenia and contemplates dropping his case. Yet, after listening to a recording of Vincent’s session, he hears a man pleading for assistance in Spanish while Vincent is supposedly alone in the room, leading him to believe that Vincent shares the same gift.
