The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)
The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018), directed and co-written by Susanna Fogel and David Iserson, follows the story of Audrey Stockman in Los Angeles. Recently dumped by her boyfriend Drew, Audrey’s best friend and roommate Morgan Freeman encourages her to get rid of his belongings. Little does she know, Drew is actually a CIA agent being pursued by dangerous individuals. Before leaving town, Drew asks Audrey not to burn anything while he is away. At work, Audrey meets a man who turns out to be Sebastian Henshaw, revealing that he is looking for Drew who has gone missing. Despite claiming no knowledge of his whereabouts, Audrey is kidnapped and then released. Later on, when Drew returns for his things including a fantasy football trophy, they are ambushed and forced to run for their lives.
In his final moments before getting shot by someone Morgan brought home from a bar, Drew instructs Audrey to deliver the trophy to his contact at a café in Vienna. Morgan convinces Audrey to accompany her to Vienna, where they meet Sebastian at a café. He demands the trophy at gunpoint, forcing Audrey to reluctantly hand it over. As they hurriedly escape, they are pursued by men on motorcycles. However, Audrey reveals that she had cleverly switched the real trophy with one of several decoys they had purchased. Deciding to continue their journey by boarding a train to Prague, they soon discover that the trophy actually contains a USB. In a panic, Morgan calls her parents for help and learns that they can stay with family friend Roger in Prague.
